A good audio video system should almost disappear. The television sits straight. The wires stay out of sight. Music reaches the far end of the patio without blasting the people sitting nearest the speaker. When the sun drops, the projector comes alive, the first notes roll across the yard, and an ordinary night at home starts feeling like somewhere you were lucky enough to be invited.

Taylor began working professionally in audio video in 2005, back when flat-panel televisions were heavy, cable rooms looked like forests of coax, and a clean installation required patience, planning and a good understanding of what was happening behind the wall.

Before the work ever carried him beyond Texas, Taylor built his foundation in Central Texas one home at a time. He installed televisions, cable, satellite, data and complete audio/video systems in hundreds of homes throughout Austin, Georgetown, Sun City and the surrounding area. That residential and light commercial work taught him how to make complicated systems feel simple and how to treat every house like someone’s home, not just another jobsite.

That experience eventually carried him from Georgetown, Texas, to Washington, D.C., where he was contracted to install the complete audio video, cable distribution, satellite and television systems at The Westin Washington, D.C. City Center and other high-end hotels throughout the area.

He then built the satellite system, cable distribution, mounted TV's, and installed the lodge net system on the on the massive 20 story Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center along the Potomac River in National Harbor, Maryland, the largest combined hotel and convention center on the Eastern Seaboard. A construction site and project of that size teaches you quickly that every detail, cable, connection and label matters. One weak link can affect a room, an entire floor or the whole property.

From National Harbor, the road continued to resorts in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where Taylor worked on complete LodgeNet cable television systems and room-by-room TV and A/V installations. By the time he returned home to Central Texas, his experience stretched from hundreds of family living rooms to some of the largest hotel and resort systems on the East Coast.

Pursuing his other passions and founding IronStream LLC did not replace that passion. It gave it a bigger backyard.

Today, we bring professional audio video beyond the living-room wall and into patios, outdoor kitchens, pool areas, pergolas and open spaces where families and friends naturally gather. That might mean an outdoor television over the bar, a projector and screen for summer movie nights, discreet landscape rock speakers among the plants, or clean, balanced sound that can be heard and felt across the home and property.

The equipment matters. The installation matters more. But the real reason for any of it is the evening afterward, when the work is finished, the people you care about are close, and nobody is thinking about the wires.

PROFESSIONAL TV MOUNTING STARTING AT $149

TV mounting for televisions up to 55 inches starts at $149. Standard installation includes drywall over wood studs or a structurally secured, prebuilt wood mounting surface. The television mount is sold separately.

Specialty anchoring to masonry, brick, concrete or wood siding is an additional $59. Wire concealment, electrical work, unusually difficult access, structural modifications and specialty hardware are quoted separately.

ONE-YEAR A/V WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY

Every IronStream audio video installation is backed by a one-year workmanship warranty. If an installation-related problem develops during the warranty period, we will inspect our work and correct covered workmanship issues.

Equipment and manufacturer warranties vary by product and remain subject to the original manufacturer’s terms.
